Teen Yoga and Mindfulness (4 Week Series)

Teen Yoga and Mindfulness is a class that provides teens the opportunity to build a rewarding physical practice along with a mindful experience that increases physical strength and builds self-confidence. Students will discover the added benefits of yoga, including improved focus, reduced stress and increased physical flexibility.

Appropriate for highschool aged teens, grades 9-12. 

Sunday April 23 - Sunday May 14.

6:30pm - 7:30pm

$60 for 4 week series

About Ann

Ann Biese is a certified RYT 500 and E-RYT 200, international Yoga Instructor and Teacher Trainer for ChildLight Yoga. Integrating her education with ChildLight Yoga, pre/post natal yoga and Pilates, Ann aims to apply the principles of yoga and breath-work to everyday life. In between teaching yoga/barre/cycle at various studios, facilitating ChildLight Yoga for Teens trainings, and traveling with non-profit organizations to work with children and teens, Ann enjoys volunteering as an instructor for Go Give Yoga in Haiti as well as in Boston area homeless shelters. Ann also enjoys her family and dogs and volunteering at an equine rescue farm. Ann's daughter Lauren is also a RYT 200 certified teacher and is active, along with Ann, in yoga and related volunteer activities.
