Malas + Mantras

Malas and mantras are often used to help bring more intention and concentration to a meditation and pranayama practice and have been shown to help slow respiration and encourage well-being. In this fun workshop, participants will each create their own sandalwood mala necklace that they can keep or gift to someone. You will also learn how to hold and use the mala as we practice a japa mantra meditation, setting an intention and allowing the beads to be a grounding element. Sign-up in advance is required for purchase of materials. Please bring a hand towel to the workshop.
