With Rebecca Sisson
Hands on assists and adjustments are a powerful way for you to help your students connect to their practice. To offer artful assists in a group class takes practice, the power of observation and confidence.
In this hands on workshop we will review the fundamentals, discuss the different categories of assists (directional, stabilizing, deepening) and how to assess when and which assist is needed. In addition, we will cover safe alignment (for both the student and the teacher), entering and exiting a student's space, managing the room, and perhaps most importantly, how to use assists to empower your students in their practice.
$45 per person. Please pre-register for this workshop.
